Research
I am interested in Algebraic Geometry and Computational Number Theory. Find below a list of the topics I have recently worked with
- Counting rational points on algebraic varieties over finite fields (especially on K3 surfaces and cyclic covers);
- Hypergeometric and A-hypergeometric functions over finite fields (especially Appell-Lauricella);
- Picard-Fuchs equations, periods and A-hypergeometric systems;
- Zeta and L-functions;
- Taylor varieties.

Visits

From February 1 to March 6, 2026, I was a Visiting Research Student in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sydney, Australia. I worked with Professor John Voight, together with Professor Tyler Kelly. The visit was funded by the University of Sydney and by the Turing Scheme Cost of Living and SEND Grant from the University of Birmingham.

From July 7 to 11, 2025, I visited Brown University for the Collaborate@ICERM - Arithmetic data for Delsarte K3 surfaces.
